10 Enlightening Days in Ghana: February 9th to 19th
In addition to participating in Teach on the Beach programs, you will tour two historically significant slave castles. You will visit Elmina, the first European structure built in Africa, and Cape Coast castles. Teach on the Beach sponsored students will accompany you on your visits to these these locations, both prominent in the Atlantic Slave Trade and the last places many slaves saw before being taken to the New World. Learn the history of slave trade and what it means to thoughtful, expressive Ghanaian students - they will open your eyes.$3500 single, $3000 for couples

We will be departing Detroit on Thursday, February 9th via Delta Air Lines, and will return on Sunday, February 19th.
In Ghana, the itinerary is as follows:
2/10: Arive in Accra, the capital city of Ghana. We will travel from Accra to Busua, where you will meet the Teach on the Beach sponsored students.
2/11: This is a day to relax and enjoy the beaches of Busua and Butre.
2/12: Visit Cape Three Points, the most centrally located land on Earth!
2/13: Meet the headmistress and teachers at Busua Primary.
2/14: Participate in our after school programs during the 14th &15th.
2/16: Travel to Elmina Castle.
2/17: Travel to Cape Coast Castle.
2/18: Say goodbye to the kids, and travel back to Accra for our return flight.

Travel Policies
- Refund Policy. Given the needs of our organization - the needs of the children - we cannot offer refunds on any transaction. Deposits, housing, meal, transportation, excursion, and program fees collected are final and non-refundable.
- Volunteer Conduct. If a guest or volunteer blatantly violates the code of conduct (all guests are required to read and sign), they will be expelled from the house at their expense.
- Travel Insurance. All guests and volunteers are required to purchase travel insurance.
