Louis Cobbina came to us from a very poor village in the Oppon Valley. He is generally reserved but especially quiet around volunteers because he doesn't have confidence in his English. Louis is in his element when there is work to be done - he can handle himself with difficult physical tasks quickly figuring out the most efficient way to work without a word of complaint.

He brings this uncomplaining, unwavering attitude to his studies. Thought he struggles in most subjects, Louis doesn't pout or give up, he just keeps trying and shows a resiliency and maturity of a man twice his age. Like Henry Louis' grades are not exemplary, but it is his positive attitude and commitment to learning and doing what is right that makes him an important member of our team. Louis has the potential to be a great leader in his own way. We expect him to be a pillar in the community promoting education and strong work ethic.
